Kampot Pepper has been grown amongst the azure hills of steamy Southern Cambodia for hundreds of years. Thirteenth-century accounts by Chinese explorer Tchéou Ta Kouan even mention the highly-respected spice. These are brightly aromatic peppercorns with a vivid heat, but also a pleasing layer of woody 'eau de cologne' notes on the finish.
These are well-formed, attractive, rich-coloured peppercorns with a clean, distinctive, fruity pepper aroma and a fruity bright flavour with a good level of heat.
Suitable for vegetarians and vegans
Suggestion: Pair with poached pears or use as a topping for tender pork cutlets.
